Mayor-elect Johnson Announces Inaugural Chairs

Mayor-elect Johnson has assembled a team of Illinois’ most influential and accomplished elected leaders to support his inauguration

CHICAGO– Today, Mayor-elect Brandon Johnson announced the inaugural chairs for the Chicago For The People transition team.

“I’m honored to have exemplary leaders representing every level of government as inaugural chairs, as we prepare to unite Chicagoans together during this transition period,” said Mayor-elect Brandon Johnson. “Our work would not be possible without the leadership and support of our inaugural chairs and I look forward to working together in order to achieve our shared vision for a safer, stronger Chicago.”

Mayor-elect Johnson has assembled a team of Illinois’ most influential and accomplished elected leaders to support his inauguration. The Chicago for the People inaugural chairs announced today are:

Since securing victory, Mayor-elect Johnson has been leading a strong, unifying transition.
